Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026. This policy explains how Callboard collects, uses, and protects your personal data. Final legal copy to be reviewed before public launch.
What we collect
When you submit a profile, we collect the following personal data:
- Your name
- Contact email address
- A headshot photograph
- A short biography
- Your creative roles and locations
- Optional links to your website and social media profiles
- Your availability status (optional)
When someone contacts you through the directory, we process their name, email address, and message. When someone reports a profile, we collect the reason and your email address from your logged-in session.
Why we collect it
- To list your profile in the public directory
- To facilitate contact between directory users and listed creatives
- To review submissions and moderate the directory
- To handle reports of inappropriate content
Legal basis
We process your data based on your explicit consent, given when you submit your profile. You must confirm consent and that you are 18 or over before submitting. You can withdraw consent at any time by requesting removal.
Data retention
- Approved profiles remain visible until you request removal or an admin removes them
- Data from removed or rejected profiles is permanently deleted within 30 days
- Headshot images are deleted when your profile is deleted
Who can see your data
- Approved profiles — your name, bio, headshot, roles, locations, availability, and links are publicly visible. Your email address is never shown publicly.
- Contact messages — when someone sends you a message via the directory, their email address is shared with you so you can reply directly.
- Admin — directory administrators can see all submitted data, including your email address, for moderation purposes.
How to request deletion
Email us at directory@blakenet.uk and we will remove your profile promptly. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of removal.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, bot protection (Turnstile), and data storage. Data is processed in accordance with Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery for contact messages and admin notifications. Data is processed in accordance with Resend's privacy policy.
- OpenAI — your biography, headshot, and contact messages are checked by OpenAI's automated content moderation service before publishing. This helps us keep the directory safe. OpenAI does not store this data (zero data retention on the moderation endpoint) and does not use it to train their models. See OpenAI's privacy policy.
